The DirectEmployers Institute (DEI) Spring Internship is a fast-paced, 10-week program designed to provide high school and college students with hands-on experience in project management, program development, and workforce readiness. Interns will play a key role in preparing for STEM YES! 2025, gaining real-world skills that will set them apart in future academic and career opportunities.
Throughout the 10-week virtual internship, interns will gain resume-building experience while working both independently and collaboratively to lead impactful projects, including:
• Logistics and planning for the annual STEM YES! program
• Procuring materials and funding to support STEM YES!
• Networking with corporate partners and community organizations
• Fundraising and grant development for DEI initiatives
• Marketing and outreach to engage students in DEI programs
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Ideal Candidate Should:
• Be a junior or senior enrolled in High School OR a College student in Indiana
• Be able to commit 10-20 hours/week
• Have a Growth mindset
• Be able to learn new material quickly
• Have an interest in STEM, Business, or
• Education
• Be able to work with a team
Pay: Stipend or Hourly
