Junior Keeper Camp

Wolf Park’s “Junior Keeper” camp provides a once in a lifetime experience for high schoolers aged 14-17 interested in pursuing a career in animal husbandry, wildlife research, or wildlife conservation.

 Junior Keeper Camp provides a one-of-a-kind experience for high schoolers passionate about pursuing a career in animal care. The two-day experience is designed to introduce campers to a variety of pathways within the field of animal care, such as a zookeeper or veterinarian, and effectively prepare students for internships at wildlife organizations. Campers will have opportunities to engage in daily keeper duties at Wolf Park, which can include diet preparation and enrichment, as well as meet animal care staff and interns.
