The MICI-AHEC Delta Dental: Smile Squad Dental Camp is a program committed to diversifying dental careers for the next generation of dental scholars. This 1-week academy will expose minority high school students to skill development, academic preparation, networking opportunities and admission information. University professors, graduate students, MICI-AHEC staff and program partners will coordinate to work with students in providing hands-on activities geared toward dentistry. Faculty from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and one of our Dental partners will present educational materials that reflect cultural diversity and are meaningful to students.

This academy will provides career exploration, educational awareness for the importance of diversifying dental careers, mentorship opportunities, and community engagement.
