Career Camps give middle, high school, and 18+ year olds an in-depth and hands on law enforcement experience.

Indiana Troopers Youth Services provides multiple opportunities for youth of all ages to have interactive experience with troopers from all areas of the state! Our law camps are for middle school age students (6th-8th grade), career camps are for high school age attendees (9th-12th grade), and the shield project is for those 18 years or older. All camps are co-ed overnight camps that are structured and designed to let youth see what it’s like to have a career in public safety. Each age range has a different length of time that they stay with the staff. These camps have hands-on experience for all ages, which include but are not limited to, physical training, crime scene, SWAT, K-9, scuba, aviation, self-defense, firearms safety and many more! Testimonials:

The Indiana State Police Career Camp changed my life. Here, I met people my age as well as troopers who became my family. The camp not only provides information on what it means to be a State Trooper, but also the importance of integrity, determination, and community. Going into law enforcement has always been my dream, but I did not know where to start. The camp guided me in the right direction and prepared me for my future. Now, I am currently in the process to become a Trooper. Dreams really do come true, and I have The Indiana State Police Career Camp to thank for being the first steppingstone.  Megan Moreno

The Indiana State Police Career Camp instilled a desire in me to become an Indiana State Trooper. This camp was the beginning of my journey into becoming a law enforcement officer.  I can now say I was able achieve my dream at becoming a trooper.  I encourage anyone who has an interest in law enforcement to attend the camp. It was life changing for me. Trp. Allison Marlowe
